Appointment Cancellation Policy
At SkinLuxx MedSpa, we value your time and ours. To provide the best possible service to all our clients, we have established the following cancellation policy:
Cancellations
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and you may need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. We kindly request that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to accommodate other clients who may be on a waiting list or seeking our services.
Cancellation Fee
If you fail to cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, a cancellation fee will be applied. The fee amount may vary depending on the type and duration of the appointment. We will provide you with the specific fee when you contact us to cancel.
No-Show Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment without any prior notice, you will be considered a "no-show." A no-show will result in the same cancellation fee as if you had not canceled with less than 24 hours' notice.

EXCEPTIONS
We understand that emergencies and unforeseen situations can occur. In such cases, we may consider waiving the cancellation fee at our discretion. Please contact us as soon as possible if you encounter extenuating circumstances.
late arrivals
We strive to maintain punctual schedules to serve all our clients efficiently. If you arrive late for your appointment, please note that your treatment time may be reduced to avoid delaying subsequent appointments. However, the full fee for the scheduled appointment will apply.

PROTOCOLS
Laser Hair Removal
BEFORE:
Please shave the area being lasered the night before, the closer the shave the better the outcome. Please avoid sun exposure for 7 days prior to your treatment. Avoid waxing, plucking or depilatory creams on the treatment area for up to 6 weeks prior to your appointment. Please STOP use of any retinol products 1 week prior to your treatment.
AFTER:
Use Sun protection on the area treated, and avoid sun exposure for at least 2 weeks after treatment. Avoid hot showers, hot tubs, pools with Chlorine, and saunas for 48 hours after your treatment. Do not pluck or wax or use depilatory creams in between your sessions, Shaving is allowed if necessary. Makeup creams and lotions may be resumed 24 hours after treatment. Don't forget to rebook your appointment 6 weeks from initial appointment if you haven't already done so.
RF Microneedling
BEFORE:
Discontinue use of Retinols 1 week prior to your treatment. Avoid Sun Exposure for 2 weeks prior to treatment. Do not wax, shave, pluck or use depilatory cream 2 days prior to treatment
AFTER:
Do not use water or any products other then a serum or moisturizer to keep skin hydrated for 24 hours. Please avoid applying make up for 48 hours. Avoid Direct Sunlight and always use SPF 30+. Avoid hot showers, hot tubs, hot rooms, pools with Chlorine, and saunas for 48 hours after your treatment. Avoid Use of Retinol for 3 days after treatment
HYDRABRASION
BEFORE:
Discontinue use of Retinol 3 days prior to treatment. No Shaving, plucking, threading or depilatory creams before your treatment.
AFTER:
No Heavy Make up for 12 hours, No swimming, or facial waxing for 24 hours. No Sauna, hot tubs, sun beds, sun exposure, botox or fillers for 48 hours after treatment. Do not use AHA's, Retinols, or exfoliators for 72 hours after treatment.
Facials/Chemical Peels
BEFORE:
Discontinue use of Retinol 1 week prior to treatment.
AFTER:
Avoid hot showers, hot tubs, hot rooms, pools with Chlorine, and saunas for 48 hours after your treatment. Do not resume use of Retinols for up to 3 days after treatment.
Vein Treatments
BEFORE:
Avoid Sun Exposure, tanning beds, sunless tanning lotions/creams during and after treatment. Discontinue use of Retinols at least 3 days prior to your treatment.
AFTER:
Apply sunscreen to treated Area before any sun exposure. Avoid tanning beds, sunless tanning lotions/creams. No strenuous activities for 7 days after treatment, a light walk is encouraged. Apply an antibiotic ointment to the area to prevent drying or crusting and to soothe skin. If crust forms, allow to fall off naturally. Avoid hot baths/showers, hot tubs for 7 days after treatment.
LAser FAcial
BEFORE:
Avoid Sun Exposure, tanning beds, sunless tanning lotions/creams during and after treatment. Discontinue use of Retinols at least 3 days prior to your treatment.
AFTER:
Apply a Broad Spectrum 30+ SPF Daily. Continue use of Retinols only 3 days after treatment. Avoid hot showers, hot tubs, hot rooms, pools with Chlorine and saunas for 48 hours after treatment.
HYPERPIGMENTATION TREATMENT
BEFORE:
Avoid Sun Exposure, tanning beds, sunless tanning lotions/creams during and after treatment. Discontinue use of Retinols at least 3 days prior to your treatment.
AFTER:
Avoid Sun Exposure, tanning beds, sunless tanning lotions/creams during and after treatment. Always apply a 30+ SPF to treated area. Do not pick or peel the scabs, allow them to fall off over the course of several days.
